Just got done with my personal caps and figured I would share. I am too cheap (well, broke) to get it off iTunes right now so I capped from YouTube. They're pretty good quality considering but they do have the little ad button in the lower right corner and a couple of times, the timer popped up into the cap. Hopefully they won't be too much of a bother.
I'm sort of an over-obsessive capper, just sure that the moment I missed is going to be the one I need. So a lot of the caps are very similar.

It's been awhile since I made any icons and I actually made these a couple weeks ago but was hoping to make a few more before I posted. And promptly got sidetracked, of course.
Feel free to steal, use, lick... whatever.
Being made from web vids, the quality is not top notch.

I'm sure I am not the first to do this but I hadn't seen it yet when I got the idea from watching Pimp My Ride and seeing how they gave one car a camo paint job.
Basically what you will find in the zip is blobs which, when used in the manner shown below, will result in a camo look.
They are header/banner size but easily size down for smaller jobs.

Before anyone mentions it, yes, there is something a little fishy with the ratio. I'm not quite sure why and I didn't notice it until I had finished up all the bases when someone mentioned my Princess Bride bases were also a little off. I have checked over my settings and everything appears to be as it should not to mention that I capped RENT before this and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory today and both those movies turned out just fine. I'll be keeping a better eye on it in the future but I just don't have the energy to recap and base everything right now. I find it's not terribly noticeable in most of the shots unless you are looking for it and if this is too annoying, then you certainly don't have to grab them. I hope most will find it acceptable.
I have a feeling I will eventually redo them since it is nibbling at my brain but I have other projects I'd like to finish before that.

Princess Bride is arguably one of the best films of all time. Because of that, it's been capped and iconed to death but I'm trying to improve my capping and iconing skills and it's always more fun to work on something we love.

| Big Bunch of 338 RENT Bases... |

It's the BIG ONE! ;c)
I foolishly did not add Over The Moon to the last bunch, thinking it fit better with La Vie Boheme. While that is true, Boheme is already is so long that this bunch ended up being over 300! Again, this is in part due to redundancy. I like having lots of option and I'd rather have too many than too few and miss the shot that I end up needing.
 
 
I'd also like to remind that this is my first time at DVD captures and making bases, both. I've learned so much out of doing this but I know I have more to learn and so they could be better. The hardest thing is that movies, well... they move. Especially with a musical where some of the best scenes include lots of dancing and motion, it's hard to catch a moment that doesn't have blur.
Last, I have been purposely trying to not sharpen or lighten the images too much so that icon makers can play around with them a little easier.
( Now that I've made my excuses, onward to the bases! ;c) )
